Danny and Hassida Eliahu and their sons arrived in New Zealand with a desire to introduce pita bread to the New Zealand table. At the time, pita bread was not commercially produced in New Zealand and Danny saw an opportunity to make fresh pita bread readily available in supermarkets across the country.
Danny is a firm believer that fresh is best and is fiercely proud of his product. With sons Yaron in production and Gilad in logistics, this family-run company continues to bring high-standard, authentic Middle Eastern foods to New Zealand.

Pita Bread, like all bread, is best fresh, but will keep well in its bag for two days. Because we do not use any preservatives or emulsifiers it is best to freeze your pita bread immediately after purchase and take out just what you need. It thaws quickly within 15 minutes, or it can be put in the microwave for about 30 seconds. The best way to get your Pita Bread crispy is to toast it for a few minutes or heat it up in the oven. We also provide Pita Bread in a vacuum container. It stays fresh for longer and is ideal for you to take away on holiday. It can also be frozen and used in the same way as the bagged Pita Bread.
